MS. BYRD

Ms. Jacqueline Byrd is the Administrative Assistant for Mercy Primary Care Center (MPCC). She has been employed with MPCC since its inception in 2001.
Byrd is the proud mother of two children and has one grandson that she adores. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Siena Heights University, as well as an Associate of Arts and Associate of General Studies from Wayne Community College.
Ms. Byrd goes above and beyond to serve the community outside of MPCC. She is a licensed Evangelist. For over twenty-five years she has traveled the world as part of her ministry. She is a member of Synagogue Baptist Church and her influence has led to support from that ministry to the MPCC Special Personal Assistance (SPA) Program, specifically Pastor Jake Gaines, Jr. leading Bible Study with SPA clients. In addition, she has recently started Upgrade Foundation Inc., a program providing services to single parents and their families in the city of Detroit.
Ms. Byrd says, “ Working for Mercy Primary Care Center has been rewarding. The staff at MPCC works hard to ensure that patients get the best care.” She is dedicated to the mission of MPCC, which is reflected in her work ethic and professionalism. The staff at MPCC likes to think of Mrs. Byrd as a quiet and spiritual person. Co-workers also note that she is quite funny and is also a very giving person.
