AIISYA WILLIAMSON
RADIANT STAR |
Mrs. Aiisya Williamson is the radiant executive director of Mercy Primary Care Center (MPCC). She is married and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.
Aiisya started her career planning to become a doctor because she wanted to help care for patients, as she had watched her grandmother and mother do in the healthcare field for many years. As she pursued this ambition, she worked in a medical clinic in Chicago that served uninsured and underinsured individuals. While working there, she realized that she could touch more lives by working in administration, giving staff the tools they needed to serve patients to the best of their ability.
Aiisya has brought that desire to reality at MPCC, where she emphasizes the importance of supporting and empowering MPCC staff. Staff remark on her ability to deal with conflict and bring out the positive side of difficult situations, as well as her availability to discuss issues that arise. Her professionalism and lovely attitude is also appreciated. MPCC staff describes her as a wonderful boss, great leader and teacher, always happy, upbeat, with a smile on her face. Aiisya demonstrates to her staff that their opinion matters as decisions are made regarding the Center and its operations.
Aiisya brings great talents, energy and enthusiasm to MPCC that will allow it to thrive and be sustainable over time. She is extremely gifted in data management and analysis. In her first year with MPCC, she has used these talents to identify the Center’s current state, outline a vision for the future and design a plan to reach that vision of financial sustainability and improved patient care. She led the development of a Strategic Plan for the Center that allows the Center and staff to better focus their energies in a direction that maximizes the benefit to patients and the community.
Aiisya is very mission-driven and has a true dedication to service of MPCC patients and SPA clients. “She was truly sent by God to allow His work at MPCC to continue and flourish.”
